1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide during registration and account use, such as name, email, password, profile settings, messages, and support requests. We also collect birth date, birth time, location inputs, questions submitted for I Ching or Liuyao readings, compatibility inputs, wish text, boost activity, saved reports, and payment-related status processed through Dodo Payments. We collect basic usage data, device information, logs, and cookies needed for session management and security.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data to provide the Service, calculate charts and readings, generate AI reports, save report history, process payments and point balances, manage Plus benefits, show public wishes when you choose to post them, respond through the messaging system, measure site performance, debug errors, and protect the platform from abuse.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your account, report, wish, transaction, and message records are stored in PostgreSQL databases or equivalent managed storage. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Payment card, wallet, and bank details are handled by Dodo Payments and are not stored on our servers. We use HTTPS, OAuth where applicable, access controls, and operational logging to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services including Google OAuth for authentication, Dodo Payments for payment processing, analytics tools for site measurement, infrastructure providers for hosting and databases, and AI providers for report generation. Each provider has its own privacy policy. We share only the data needed for the relevant service to work, such as login identity, checkout status, usage events, or the inputs needed to generate a requested report.
5. Data Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Generated reports, wish records, point transactions, membership status, and messages are stored so the Service can reopen reports, maintain balances, show public wish history, and handle support. Transaction records are kept for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, and legal requirements. You may request deletion of eligible data at any time, but some records may need to be retained where required by law or needed to resolve disputes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, export your data in a machine-readable format, withdraw consent for data processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us through the in-app messaging system.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We may use privacy-conscious analytics cookies or similar identifiers to understand page usage and conversion paths. We do not use advertising cookies for third-party ad targeting. By using the Service, you consent to the cookies needed for the site to work.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
9. Public Content
If you post a public wish, boost another wish, or use a public sharing feature, the displayed text, display name or anonymized author label, point or boost indicators, and timestamps may be visible to others. Do not include private information in public fields unless you are comfortable with it being public.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
