1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CosmicTao ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CosmicTao provides Bazi (八字) chart analysis, I Ching and Liuyao readings, compatibility tools, the Wish Sanctuary, bilingual reference pages, account features, point balances, memberships, and related reports. Some content is generated with artificial intelligence from user inputs, calculation results, and traditional Chinese metaphysical references. All readings are for entertainment, cultural reference, and self-reflection only.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and checkout. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to bypass payment checks, scrape private account data, interfere with the platform, or violate these Terms.
4. Points & Payments
Points are a virtual balance used within the Service for reports, wishes, boosts, and other consumed features. Points are purchased through Dodo Payments or granted through account benefits such as Plus where available. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred outside the Service, and are not refundable once used for report generation or another consumed action. Unused purchased points remain in your account unless required otherwise by law. We may adjust pricing, point packages, or benefits with prior notice.
5. Wish Sanctuary and Public Content
Some features, including public wishes, wish boosts, leaderboards, shared oracle readings, and public library comments or messages if enabled, may be visible to other users or visitors. Do not submit personal data, private contact information, unlawful content, harassment, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights. We may moderate, hide, or remove public content that violates these Terms or harms the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and visual assets on CosmicTao are the property of CosmicTao or its licensors. AI-generated reports are licensed to the purchasing user for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell generated content for commercial purposes.
7. AI Output and User Decisions
AI-generated reports may contain errors, omissions, awkward phrasing, or simplified cultural context. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it. CosmicTao does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, investment, relationship, or other professional advice, and you should not use the Service as the sole basis for major decisions.
8. Limitation of Liability
CosmicTao and its operators are not liable for decisions made based on readings, reports, or interpretations from the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CosmicTao operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
