Peach Blossom

Peach Blossom adds symbolic imagery alongside Ten Gods and pillar positions, often concerning social contact, attraction, presentation, aesthetics and visibility. It does not identify whether a relationship is marriage, friendship or ordinary social contact. Position, Ten God content and branch interactions make the marker more specific.

Peach Blossom, also called Xian Chi, is a branch-based marker. The common table is Shen/Zi/Chen → You; Yin/Wu/Xu → Mao; Hai/Mao/Wei → Zi; Si/You/Chou → Wu. Year and Day Branch references may differ, so record both the reference and the pillar where the marker appears.

A Zi Year Branch points to You, while a Wu Day Branch points to Mao. If the chart contains both, those markers have different references. Read Peach Blossom separately from Ten Gods, combinations, clashes and Day Branch position so that each label remains traceable.

Using Zi as reference gives You as Peach Blossom. For Jia, Xin hidden in You is Direct Officer; for Bing it is Direct Wealth. The marker is unchanged but the relationship imagery differs. Its placement in the Month versus Hour Pillar is another separate piece of information.

If You meets Mao, show the marker alongside the Mao–You clash and identify the affected position. Combining those labels is not a record of an actual romantic event. Keep this layer alongside, rather than in place of, the broader relationship analysis.
