Tomb emphasizes a phase of withdrawal for a particular element or stem; Storage emphasizes containment. Chen, Xu, Chou and Wei each contain several hidden stems, so a storage branch is not a single-purpose wealth container. Identify which element and hidden stem are being discussed, relative to which Day Master.

Distinguish Tomb as a stem-specific growth-phase position, hidden stems as branch contents, and mixed-qi pattern selection from the month’s hidden stems. Chen, Xu, Chou and Wei are central to these discussions. Chen contains Wu earth, Yi wood and Gui water.

Wu inside Chen is Indirect Wealth for Jia, Direct Wealth for Yi, Seven Killings for Ren and Direct Officer for Gui. Identify those relationships before applying a Wealth-storage label. For Chen–Xu or Chou–Wei clashes, examine the affected stems and their interactions rather than treating a clash as an automatic release of Wealth.

Take a constructed Jia chart with Chen month: Chen contains Wu Indirect Wealth, Yi Rob Wealth and Gui Direct Resource. An exposed Gui connects the hidden Resource to the stems; exposed Wu instead highlights Wealth. The same month supplies different pattern clues depending on what emerges.

For Xu clashing Chen, compare both branches’ hidden stems, existing combinations and seasonal positions. An opening-storage interpretation must specify the affected relationships rather than translate clash directly into acquiring wealth.
